Confirm the top and base as one assembly
Record top dimensions and thickness, mounting pattern, base model or spread, column location, glides, and supported size.
Test the real place setting
Chair width, shared plates, menus, lamps, condiments, service style, and table-turn expectations change usable top area.
Protect accessible dining surfaces
Where the 2010 ADA Standards apply, the dining or work surface must meet the applicable height, knee-clearance, clear-floor, and approach requirements. The qualified project team must verify the final layout.
