Restaurant Seating Capacity Planning Worksheet
A target capacity is not a furniture order. Divide it by operating zone and seating type before selecting products.

What a completed decision should establish.
Approved occupant capacity is not automatically an order quantity. Furniture must be allocated by operating zone, seating type, accessible condition, and actual layout.
Reconcile every operating zone
Main dining, bar, counter, patio, private dining, waiting, and flexible areas should add back to the approved operating target.
Count fixed and movable seating separately
Chairs, stools, booths, banquettes, counters, communal tables, and outdoor seats create different product and replacement quantities.
Use the actual plan for code and access
Local requirements, accessible dining distribution, routes, egress, service paths, and occupied furniture positions must be verified on the project plan.

Reconcile the total

Keep accessible seating dispersed
Applicable accessible dining spaces must be integrated through the dining areas.
Separate movable and fixed
