What a completed decision should establish.
A model room is valuable only when its observations become controlled decisions that update specifications and production documents.
The qualified project team must verify applicable accessibility requirements on the final project plan.
Test the interfaces
Review furniture with lighting, power, equipment, wall finishes, doors, and housekeeping access in place.
Separate room types
One mockup may not resolve every suite, accessible, connecting, or handed condition.
Close before release
Each accepted change should reach drawings, specifications, pricing, and production records.

Completed worksheet entry
Worked example: resolve a bedside-power conflict
A filled entry can still record an open issue. This example makes the correction, evidence and production hold explicit so that an observation does not disappear into a general approval.
| Worksheet field | Example entry |
|---|---|
| Review area | Bed, nightstand, lighting, and power |
| Observation | The nightstand back covers the bedside outlet. The lamp plug cannot be reached with the furniture in its intended position. |
| Required change | Revise the nightstand back detail and dimension the outlet access on the shop drawing. Recheck the revised mockup with the lamp and cables in place. |
| Owner | Design lead, coordinating the furniture supplier and electrical designer. |
| Due date | 19 October 2026, before final casegoods shop-drawing sign-off. |
| Closed by | Pending the designated reviewer’s dated recheck, annotated photograph and accepted drawing revision. |
| Release effect | Hold production of the affected nightstand configuration until the correction is verified and the revised drawing is issued. |
Acceptance checks before closing this entry
Confirm that the plug is accessible with the nightstand in position, drawer travel remains clear, and the cable is not pinched. Compare the corrected mockup with the revised dimensioned drawing and record the photograph and revision identifier in the log. Refer any electrical change to the project’s qualified electrical reviewer.
The designated reviewer should record their name, the date and the evidence before lifting this hold. Carry the accepted detail into the supplier’s production documents, and identify which room types use it. Other room layouts, accessible conditions and unrelated open issues still need their own review.
