Cape Umbrellas manufactured and patented the EasyLift Umbrella, the world’s first and only self-opening umbrella. As demand surged, the business expanded. What began as a modest factory had now firmly established itself as a trusted name in outdoor shade. By 2017, Cape Umbrellas' growth had accelerated dramatically, expanding into Mauritius, Dubai, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas. Moving into new headquarters by Cape Town Airport, setting a significant milestone in our proudly African-made legacy. Growth continued into 2022 with the establishment of offices and warehouses in Jacksonville, United States, and Almere, Netherlands-strengthening our global presence. Our 70000 ft² production facilities in Cape Town are equipped with cutting-edge technology, including four large UV digital printers to meet diverse client needs.
