Sources and methodology

Every company record needs public evidence.

The directory documents commercial furniture companies found in selected 2026 United States and Canadian trade sources. Coverage is strongest in hospitality and is not presented as a complete census of every supplier.

Source required

A company enters the directory only when a retained public trade directory supports the record.

Identity deduplication

Repeated company names and official domains are consolidated so trade-show appearances do not become duplicate profiles. Conflicting identities are held for review.

Furniture relevance required

Generic tabletop, tableware, equipment, lighting, decor, and other non-furniture classifications are excluded from public supplier records.

Location precision disclosed

City and region appear only when a source publishes both. A country-only record remains in its country index without creating a thin state or province page.

Profile depth required

Thin single-source records without a useful description or enough furniture classifications are held back for enrichment.

Featured placement disclosed

Commercial Furniture Depot appears as the featured sourcing partner. Its placement is promotional and clearly labeled.

Useful page threshold

A state or province page requires at least 8 precisely located company records. Smaller sets remain available in search and the complete country directory.

Corrections accepted

Companies can request a correction or claim review. Evidence is checked before a public record changes.

Update policy: supplier records are reviewed when their source directories are refreshed, when an official domain changes, or when a supported correction is submitted. Buyer resources are reviewed when their governing documents change.
